Surfaces
- Main Website URL — the org’s primary site host (for example
xyz.com), distinct fromgive.*/events.*/blog.*. The full site becomes public only after this host is connected and pages are published. - Donate / giving host — allocated surface such as a
give.hostname. - Events host
- Blog / stories host
Setup: open Integrations → Domains, choose the surface, create the CNAME and ownership TXT records shown, wait until the dashboard shows verified then active TLS. That can take minutes to hours.
Optional: after the main site is published, organisations can enable redirects from legacy surface hosts onto main-site slugs (for example a donations host path onto xyz.com/campaigns/... when campaigns are enabled on the main website).
If the organisation already has WordPress and does not want 1 NGO DNS, use the WordPress plugin instead.
